I laughed. Insurance doesn't matter?

I was paying 2500 GBP, a year for a crappy SLOW 1.6 Peugeot..
And my dad as first driver with over 10 years NCB.
And you saying you want a fast car for you're first car and you only 17?

It won't be cheap, insurance company's was telling me 10000 GBP to get insured, but I got it to 2500.. Trust me, you will either get refused insurance or will have to find another way, or get a small litre engine.

Just get a crappy little car, learn to drive properly then build up you're NCBs and then in a few years get a nice "fast" car.. But for now, start small then go big!

Trust me, I've been through a few cars and insurances are money hungry for young drivers.

But now with NCB and a clean licence, it's pretty cheap.

Holy f***ing s**t insurance in the UK is expensive from looking at these posts, i live in new zealand and we dont have to pay for car insurance lol you can get it but its not compulsory. I insured my 95 dc2 b18c integra last year and it was $15 a fortnight for full insurance and $6000 i agreed the value of it, a friend of mine has a R33 GTR skyline and his insurance is like $28 a fortnight.
