If you connect an rgh/jtag to xbox live, it will get auto-banned by microsoft. This is why you need to purchase time on a separate server that spoofs your jtag/RGH into looking like a normal xbox360. This is called xbox live stealth- and it is $20 for 24hrs of time.

1.A jtag is not only a xbox phat with chip installed
2.an rgh is not only a slim
3.phat boards are xenon,falcon,zephyrs,opus,jaspers
4.slim boards are corona,trinity

I wouldn't be posting something and confusing him/her more than they already are..btw rgh from one of the trusted sellers in the marketplace is a good place to start

if you have the money go with a slim but if not your next best option is a jasper, if you find a jasper jtag it will be expensive because they are hard to come across, if you get a jasper there are 2 possibilities rgh and r-jtag, r-jtag has better boot times thats about it, there is technically 3 actuall, rgh 1 and 2, only difference here is rgh 2 was implemented for newer dashboards (i dont know where the cutoff between rgh 1 and 2 is)and again i think boot times will differ, rgh 1 being better. but in the end if you have patience it doesnt matter how long the boot time is(unless it goes over a minute which is terrible) any for of hack on the jasper will do you fine

Phats can be RGH'd. And a Corona is a slim motherboard. I stopped after that paragraph.

Oh wow. OP hasn't got a clue. I'm also surprised that no one has properly answered yet.

A JTAG isn't a console, it is an exploit. An RGH is also an exploit. The JTAG exploit was patched around 5 years ago so can not be performed on slim consoles and can only be installed on PHAT consoles with a dash lower than 7371. JTAG consoles boot instantly, whereas RGH consoles can take up to 3 minutes or longer to boot, on occasion.

Xenon and Jasper are xbox 360 motherboards. Xenon's are from 2005/2006, they are the first type of motherboard and are most prone to RROD. They also don't have HDMI capabilities. Jasper's are the most recent PHAT motherboards and less prone to RROD than any other PHAT motherboard. Xenon consoles are not stable with the RGH exploit and take from 24-48 hours to boot. Zephyr consoles aren't stable with the RGH exploit but are more stable than Xenon's. Xenon's are most prone to RROD and don't have HDMI. Zephyr's are basically Xenon's but with HDMI. Opus are more recent motherboards and have no HDMI capabilities. Falcon's are basically an Opus with HDMI. Jasper's are the most recent PHAT motherboards and come in 16mb, 256mg or 512mb nand versions. There are 2 motherboard types for the slims-Trinity or Corona. Trinity's are better for installing an RGH chip to and more stable than Corona's. Their are 6 types of Corona motherboards. You could have the RGH exploit performed on your slim console instead of purchasing a whole new one.

Jasper JTAG is arguably your best choice but these are also the rarest consoles around.

I was going to say the same thing with less grammar errors lol but to the OP: You can only go online with a RGH/Jtag xbox if you buy time off a server or if you're computer savy enough to reverse engineer microsofts files but judging by the way you presented yourself you most likely aren't

If you want to wait up to 48 hours or even longer for a console to boot, that's fine. Sometimes it doesn't end up booting at all though. Also, it's a xenon. If you leave a xenon trying to boot for 48 hours, it will probably overheat by the time it actually boots.
