The average temperature is actually 80 degrees.

actually the average is in the upper 60-70's 80 is a bit to warm hence why its red on the indicators.

It depends if its a slim or not. If its a slim 75+ is abnormal but it is normal for a fat to be above that. I just replaced my thermal paste on my phat ps3 and it still goes to 80
