PC is undeniably better all round then consoles but consoles have the some strong points aswell. PC's are for a much broader audience where as consoles are casual, something to play with friends at your house.

I've played on console and PC, now I prefer PC because I am mostly at my computer and I have more friends who play on PC. However I won't deny for a second that I have had many good times on both PC and Xbox 360. Both have been a great time playing on, whether it was by myself or with friends. I get a PC can be more powerful than consoles, but if someone prefers a console over PC, then that's what they want and what makes them happy. With that being said, I try to avoid the whole Xbox vs PlayStation vs PC debates as everyone has their own opinions and preferences. Someone likes console gaming, great, someone likes PC gaming, great, as long as you're having fun and enjoying which you prefer, then that's all that matters. I was going to stick with PC and console gaming, but now I can't even use a controller anymore without feeling all weird :I

I never said that the Wii was better, I just don't consider a pc to be all that special.

People get too bogged down in statistics and graphics.

If you are having fun on a game who honestly cares whether you're playing on a console, a pc or even a potato for that matter.

I personally prefer consoles but that probably because that's what my friends play.

Who actually cares what other people think, there will always be people who think they are better than other for one reason or another, I find it best to just ignore them.

When it comes down to price/performance then custom built PC is the best hands down. If you do it right then you have upgradability, and your budget gaming system can smash console performance even years down the line.

Aside from the obvious fact that even though they include apps like Netflix, Youtube etc on consoles, they are primarily a gaming system so you can't just do whatever you want. With a PC you can game, work or anything else.

Honestly PCs are in a whole different league than consoles. They are two different platforms, and they should be recognized as such. People say things like "Oh PC is better why do you peasants use consoles?" like it's a casual device you can go up and buy. Sure, you CAN buy a pre-built PC, but it will be over-priced and probably of a lesser quality than a self-build PC. Most casual users get intimidated by building their own rig and I know by personal experience -- most people I know that are console gamers feel this way.. People are console gamers because they like consoles better. It's not because "oh you're too poor" for a PC, it's because it's much easier to sit down with friends and play some games.

Not only that, but usually people who are console gamers got the console they did because of friends. They want to be able to play with people they know and enjoy playing with, where as if they played on PC and didn't know anyone on there, they wouldn't enjoy it as much. Yeah, PC has better graphics, and yes they have mods and discounts -- but all of that pales in comparison to being able to quickly jump in a match with friends. And consoles are more like entertainment systems and not gaming systems. With the new next-gen consoles, they are showing that more and more. PCs are universal and can do anything a console can do, and then some -- which again is why you should never compare the two.

This is just how I see it at least, I play one console and PC -- and I'm constantly switching between the two to play with either my console friends or my PC friends. And there is no "master race" because neither platform is perfect.
