SPEED wroteCarporn wrote Sweet! Thanks for the info man! I plan on attending some car shows in the orlando area and tampa and miami area over summer so maybe I'll see you at a meet someday lol prolly not but who knows
My car is far from show worthy at the moment, but I might go anyways for fun.
Shoot me a PM some time, and maybe we'll meet up. Been a while since I've been to a meet.
Lol, mine isn't either and won't be for another few years but I'm gonna be going out mainly just for fun and stuff. If I ever go to one in the Tampa area I'll let you know though!

Don't put money into lowering it and rims and shit, if you're "Slowly" getting into racing the first thing you want to do is put some money into the engine. Why spend all this money on rims and lowering? if you brought that car to a show you would get compliments on the look but when people want to see under the hood and realize that it's all stock, you'll get made fun of for being a ricer.
Nice car none the less, an estimated 4.3 second 0-60.

Lowering it (depending on what you lower it on) does increase performance. I'm planning on dropping a few pretty pennys in coilovers which gives a stiffer ride meaning increase handling. COILS DO A LOT! When I get new rims, they will be lighter which means increased breaking around turns. I plan on autocrossing and going to open track days. Not drag racing. I'm going to go in a sort of order like performance mods, the some accesories, then performance mods, ect. Gotta give the car a good look too. Can't focus just purely on under the hood. No ones gonna call me a ricer lol. I dont plan on putting knock off 20 inch chrome rims and cheap springs. Racing coilovers and maybe some rims like Enkie's or OZ or BBS (18 inch rims prolly). She is also my daily driver so she's gotta break some necks here and there
