This has always been a problem no matter what anyone says. There was a year around original release where it was okay, but when parents realised it was a cheap way of keeping Johnny quiet there was no going back.

I don't talk in gamechat much, if I am playing SnR or SnD with just 1 friend I will be in a private chat or if it's a party of friends I will mute all except friends. I don't like talking to people because when I do they always talk trash to everyone. And plus, I am only 14 and people call me a squeaker even though my voice isn't that high. It just depends who you play with. I will usually talk, but that's rarely.

It's because we have party chat. Before we had party chat, everyone would be talking in game chat.

Miss wrote You're probably playing the wrong types of games with immature little kids. I play World of Tanks and theirs always mature people talking in game chat, with a few exceptions. Now when I go play a different game, that's a different story. There'll be little kids talking "bad word" on Halo, CoD, GTA, and even UNO.

You just got to play a game at the right moment to find lobbies like that still. Search on MW2 is probably your best bet.

Search on Modern Warfare 2? All I get into are lobbies full of annoying trickshotters that swear at you on a daily basis...
