As a PC gamer I see no reason at all to buy a next gen console. And wondering if any console gamers feel the same.
1080p 60fps has been a standard for PC gamers for many years , yet the next gen consoles are failing to achieve what should be a standard in 2014, yet they are still claiming and marketing this as "next gen" although the hardware is already outdated and not next gen at all.
People who own a next gen console are you happy with your purchase?
The price they are asking for these outdated consoles is ridiculous and would be a much wiser option to build at PC for the same price achieving 1080p 60fps and all of the benefits of PC gaming.

Right now I am not happy with it because of these reasons.
-Not enough games.
-Still some important features missing.
-Many of my friends don't have next gen or rarely play it.
-The games and headsets are ridiculously priced.
-The updates are taking forever to come out.
-Memory gets used to easily, which is just another marketing scheme for me to buy an external hdd.

Great points you have there. I am planning on getting an Xbox One this month mainly for BF4. I know it'd be amazing on PC (like how bf2 was) but I wouldn't want to get the wrong parts or get ripped off when trying to get the right hardware for bf4 on PC

Some people don't like to game on a PC, With the Xbox One the servers are much more stable for multiplayer and they are dedicated, Also there is a bigger community and it is much less likely to be hacked or modified.

Pretty much all of multiplayer on PC is run on dedicated servers, and the community is larger on PC.

The Frostbite engine runs amazing on PC which means that you will not need an expensive PC to max that game at 1080p 60fps. It also uses mantle which is a technology that boosts performance on new AMD cards.
If you are interested in building a PC I am happy to help you and im sure lots of other people will too. Reddit.com/r/buildapc is a good start. Don't be put off by building a PC at all it is not hard at all it is like adult Lego as you cannot put anything in the wrong place as parts are designed to fit together. Also there are many companies that are happy to build a PC for you. Just don't get get a pre built PC as they are very overpriced.

Yes, I am very happy with my PS4. Sadly it doesn't have free online such as PC, but it still gets the job done. These consoles are great for people who don't have high end gaming PCs.

DerbyDriver97x wrote Servers are more stable on PC, and the Community for PC is huge and more friendly.I don't completely agree with you. More people play console than PC. I don't believe PC is more friendly. It seems like a sin if you are talking in game chat instead of a teamspeak or skype
