So I tried to play some CS:GO earlier and when it loaded I received the message that I had been "Overwatch convicted" and whenever I try to connect to a server it just says I have been "VAC Banned from secure server."

I have submitted a support ticket and still awaiting a reply(been about 5 hours), offered to provide any proof needed, what are the chances of me getting it reversed?

Anyone had this before?, no lies, I honestly haven't cheated or edited any files, I was playing Comp last night, and then all of a sudden I'm banned.

If you have, was it ever resolved? or did they just do the typical Valve, "VAC is never wrong" and ignore your support tickets?

VAC Bans are perm. Seriously they are perm. You are now VAC banned from all Valve games man. They are never reversed unless it was an issue on their side.

Yeah, Hopefully they will realise, I haven't done anything wrong.

Are you sure? I've been VAC banned on Rust and I'm not banned on CS Source or GO
OT: If you haven't hacked then you should be fine as long as you have proof and you weren't actually hacking, me personally haven't submitted tickets but I have friends who were wrongfully banned have gotten it fixed.

I'm not accusing you of anything but VAC only kicks in when it detects something in your game files has been altered or modified in anyway and usually 99.99% theirs a reason that you were banned....Regarding your question I don't believe you can ever be un-banned from a game. You can try but I wouldn't count on it. The only thing to do is create another account and buy the game again.

They usually ban in waves. You may have done something months ago but only banned now because the wave was complete. Happened to a good friend of mine who had his brother use his account and changed a few files 7 months ago. He was banned 2 weeks ago.

Well all they have to do is look at my recent matches, and there's all the proof they need, but they won't, that's what annoys me most about Valve, they seem to think "VAC" is perfect.

That very may well be it, although I'm not sure because I don't play much CS-GO but I know if you edit you FOV in CoD Ghost you will get banned for that so it may be simaler to CS-GO.
