So I've never really been into anime or thought about anime before but then one of my favourite youtube channels called RoosterTeeth made a Anime Series called RWBY and I thought I would give it a try and watch a few episodes, and I actually really liked it with its Massive crazy weapons, action scenes, the story line was good and the voice acted is good even though its the employees from roosterteeth and not professionals which is amazing !

You guys should check it out, it's not the cleanest and most professional anime show but it's worth a watch !

The term "Anime" means animation. Not all Animes are made in Japan. Just because Anime is the most common word for the Japan Animation doesn't make it an only Japanese term.

No you're wrong.
Anime refers to Japanese animation, so RWBY is not an anime because it was made in the United States.

Basically its about 4 main characters that met in a school/academy and learn to fight and use their weapons to the fullest. You should check out the trailers that will tell you a little about the plot.

I never knew that :O, so what would you call this because its like an anime ?It's kind of like Avatar because it's like an anime but it was made in America so wouldn't it be considered a cartoon?

Yeah I don't really watch anime. It never really sparked for me. I started watching RWBY like a month ago. I thought it was pretty nice. Monty Oum is awesome at animation. I like his style on how he does it.
