If you guys looked at the Decypted KV code that I posted a few posts ago, you'd see how a KV is structured. It basically has the serial, and a bunch of servers/URLs that it checks through.

I am sure it is possible, but it would take a while to reverse the algorithm, the links, and their security to actually find the data that you need.

Jeez wrote Well, it randomly popped up in my head about reverse engineering a banned/unbanned KV.. I know that they are generated by Microsoft, but there has to be a piece in there somewhere that actually is the "key" to getting online that I would think could be changed, thus "unbanning" the KV. Maybe I'm way back in old news, or over thinking it, but just an idea that popped into my head
This wouldn't do anything. A KV is basically a serial number. Think of it as your system ID. When you connect to live, it tells live that your serial number is "Blah blah blah". It checks to see if you aren't/are banned. If you are, you don't connect to live. If you aren't you connect.

But then theres gotta be a way to change that serial number. At least, I would think there would be

You would have to have a list of MS generated serial numbers because if u change it to a random string of numbers it wouldn't work because it hasn't been generated by microsoft and isn't seen as a actual kv.

Honestly, no. Its like a lock. It seems complex from the outside, but inside its just stick that push other sticks to make it turn. Just like a lock, why look into it if it works?

I dont know, I may be over thinking it. But I feel theres gotta be a way that is easier said than done, but possible

The only thing you'd accomplish is changing that KV from one xbox's KV to another, thus making it not banned. There's no real way to make a KV or unban one.

Yes there is, its been proven by great PPC coders such as Eaton/Dwack. Learn PPC and you would know, you're the kid who flaunts about using offline files because people shouldn't make money of skids lmfao.
kid are you retarded? PPC is an assembky language, youre retarded the kv is unreadable in ppc you just see the events you **** skid

If you want to give it a try I have a KV or 2 I can send you. I won't say how I got them but just that some people need to secure their websites better.

Feel free to PM me to receive the KV I will only send a couple to the user who created this thread and by no means will I give one to anyone else or go into detail about how I received them.

technically it can be done. I think it even has been done by some amazing people. But I guess it is extremely difficult!

Yes it is possible, good luck with it, we need a KV Generator!

Not possible. All of the IDs would need to match an existing console to work. That is to say the KV ID would need to match the CPU key it was assigned to. Only MS can create KVs, and presumably all KVs are randomly generated and so won't follow an algorithm. If you try and create one that isn't in their database, it won't work. Simple as.

Right. I'm going to answer why this isnt possible. You can think of a KV as essentially a serial number of a console. (someone above said the same thing) The list of 'Serial numbers' is stored on a Microsoft server somewhere which authenticates the KV you have as legit or not. If the KV you have matches a serial in the database you will have a legit KV and you will be allowed online, If however it does not you will not be allowed online as the KV will not be authenticated. Very straightforward right?

People say it's impossible to create KV's, To a degree yes. However theoretically it is possible. You would just have to hack the server where all the information is stored and add the 'serial number' you want to make official.

That being said Microsoft is locked down tighter than a nun's vagina and would be next to impossible to hack. If someone were to actually hack in, you would then have to find where the hell the KV information is stored and on what server. And nobody is going to risk life imprisonment just to authenticate KV's.

So yeah, Pretty much impossible but theoretically it can be done.

Not necessarily. If a KV works by telling Live a serial number, just changing that number would make it a whole different console.

But yes, I see where youre coming from. If there is two lists of serials on LIVEs server 'Banned' and 'Unbanned', youd need to change that number to one under the 'unbanned' list. But if it work buy having a list of only banned, you could get away with having a random numbered serial and technically get on just fine

Okay let's say it did work you would also be banning someone's Xbox what is not fair in my opinion, i'm sure you would not like that, also when you connect to the server they would see the same xbox serial number for 2 consoles at the same time with 2 different ip's so the console would get flagged quick.
