Brutally wrote She had rules in which words were not allowed in her classI haven't seen the video, but blame the English language for having that phrase used. In other languages you would say "Health" instead of bless you. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

From a different perspective I understand her rules are meant so that the students can speak in a sophisticated manner, but I still think that the suspension wasn't needed it was a bit overboard but that's just me others might have a different opinion.

What's more likely? She said 'Bless you' in a calm and nice way and was met with 'GET OUT, YOU'RE SUSPENDED!'
Or, she was being a smart ass, felt that the rules were too stupid to follow [which they are] and was shouting BLESS YOU! At any opportunity she got, and was then told she's suspended?
For me, considering I've actually been to school and know what teenagers are like, it's the second one.
A suspension is harsh, but I'm not buying that she's this sweet innocent teen girl whose constitutional rights have just been trampled on.

Literate wrote What's more likely? She said 'Bless you' in a calm and nice way and was met with 'GET OUT, YOU'RE SUSPENDED!'If is the latter, then is definitely justifiable and the student is at fault. Is still stupid and not news worthy. IMO

This is ridiculous, saying "bless you" is in no way aggressive or offensive.. Just the same as a "blackboard" is not racist however that didn't stop the government forcing schools to switch to "whiteboards"
