I used to mess around with hondas quite a bit, Now I own a cressida with a 2jz-gte swap. It's currently not running as I need to install fuel pumps, (Yes plural) upgrading from the stock ignition, 02 simulator and intake mani. Have all the parts, But I might part it out and purchase an ek or eg hatch with a K series. Hondas are like toys to me but if built correctly can dominate a mass of higher standard cars. I'll always have my love for them, Nobody here in queens (NYC) will give me a proper run with my cressida for sure. I've almost lost my life racing before but that was due to getting chased by the police and nearly hitting a divider. Anyways, Honda scene is big where I'm from and idk if I should go back to putting in work on these little kids with their half built junk boxes.

If you know your Hondas better, then I'd definitely say yes. Honda's are really reliable, and parts are super easy to come across too. And done up correctly, look a fair load nicer than most Toyota's.

But I'd say still do up your Cressida, make it more sellable, then get your self a nice Honda.

Used to run a 200cc Honda Kart, and barely ever let me down, could run for days and not stop!

Definitely, such reliable cars and so much you can do with them, an EK would be a good choice.

I might finish the build and do that, I've done a full restore of the body and frame. It's gonna be making over 650hp and honestly I know I'll get 15-20k. I've invested a lot of money into it. Only thing I build my honda to be tuned on race gas, be loud as hell do to performance parts. Over here we drag race, It's fun to toy around with. idk man, My previous honda (Semi Built accord with an H2b conversion) Was running with a 125 shot of nitrous.

Absolutely! I'm a huge honda fan myself. Hondas are the best cars to modify in my opinion.

Jeez, 650 brake? Must sound great too!

But yeahh since you've obviously got experience with them, it's probably the best way to go really. I've been there before, buying something when you have no experience can lead to a disaster, always best to know what your doing really.

But as you say, performance parts are cheap and easy to get a hold of for Hondas too.

Good luck selling that cressida for anymore then 8K. I use to own a 92 eg hatch before the evo. I had k24a8 block, xcessive intake, cartel cams, ssr header, wiseco pistons, eagle rods. I loved the thing a lot. I will still probably end up with another k series swap eg but it will be a second car to my evo. I can never get rid of it. Lets see some pics of the cressida btw
