if you live in new zealand then you be at 12:10 midday on sunday... its saturday in the UK... you will get it in 12 hours like you should... we will get it at the same time if we do this... but we are meant to get it in 25 hours... so we are getting it early, you are not

Hey man thanks for this and also, you said you did this for Destiny? If so when the time had passed evrywhere for release did you just swap your region back over and everything was normal?

Yeah that's exactly it! I'm not sure if this had anything to do with it, but I deleted it, then went to New Zealands time zone and redownloaded it as well.

I would use this method, but I want to buy the 360 version first and accounts on that are locked to a region.

Think about this.
Businessman buys call of duty in US.
Man goes on week trip to New Zealand, so he changes his region.
Man come back from trip, then changes his region back to US..

I doubt you get "locked" to NZ servers, it just doesn't seem likely.
Now, lets say you do get locked in. Simply make a call and have them change it, with the same excuse I used above. If they refuse to change it, well that's illegal, so you shouldn't be concerned with "lag" or any of that nonsense. Most likely it's a scare tactic so you don't have everyone and their mothers doing this method to get the game early.
