You could always add in an SSD later if you wanted to but it wouldn't give you or make you lose out on game performance. That case will be a chuckle to build it but most will be around that price point.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't the Pentium overclocked at 4.5ghz be faster in games than a i5 4460 at 3.2ghz?

Yes if you were using only two cores on the i5 as they are the same architecture. As the i5 has four cores it could pull ahead by utilising more powaaaahhhh

The mobo you chose is on the am3 platform but the CPU is on the 1150 platform.
They will not work together
Also, that's another thing you don't want to touch event with a stick - CIT makes the worst cases ever.

TheSlayaPug wrote The only way I could have got an i5 is by dropping the ssd but even then it was still a bit over my budget. So do you guys like the final build? I'm still learning so always open to advice and your opinions. I added another fan because I am hoping to do some serious overclocking.

Like xiggy said Mobo and CPU aren't compatible.
You say you added another fan because you were looking to do serious overclocking but you added a chassis fan not a cpu cooler.
If your on a budget and decide to go along with the pentium build look at something like a hyper 212 evo for your aftermarket.
Personally I'd go with Craigyys build.
or go with buxtyys build take out the ssd and get a better z97 board overclock the pentium then as soon as you can upgrade to something like a 4690k.

my mistake I forgot to change the motherboard. I was looking at the i5 4460, you can't overclock. Is that a concern for me or won't it matter?

the i5 isn't overclockable so you could get a nice MATX B85 mobo and a better case, such as the N200.

Like Terrabytez said..
Like i said before if you really want to overclock Go with Buxtyys build take out the SSD and get a better z97 mobo then overclock the Pentium.
As soon as you can upgrade to something like the i5 4690k atleast then you won't have to swap out the mobo and a twice as much CPU, you will just have to swap the pentium.
Add an aftermarket and a ssd later down the line.

You don't need a better motherboard for my build, perhaps a BIOS flash but thats it.

I liked Buxtyy's build very much, but I think that Craigyys build would be the better option for me. I just hope that the i5 is worth it and a lot better then the pentium I looked at.
Here is my current build and should be my final unless someone tells me something which would make me alter the build.

It's just Craigyys build with a different case. I know some of you didn't like the case but I think it's good enough.
