What were the original components you were to get?

If you wanted a good overclock i wouldn't advise doing it on a stock cooler.

Just had a quick glance through the thread, I've seen your budget go from 500 to 570 GPB now?

Whats your final budget, this thread is all over the place.

I don't really care if the thread is all over the place, I just want helpful advice. My budget at the start was 500GBP but recently I have been informed I can spend a bit more (it is a gift). I don't want to spend more than 575GBP though.

Im not saying that its a bad thing, im just saying its like a maze to read through.

Anyways... here is what I will put forward to the table

A well balanced rig which will allow you to play games on high and with upgrades easily available.

When you get some spare cash, whack on an aftermarket cooler like the 212 evo and have a small overclock on that chip.
