I haven't bought the new CoD but what I've been seeing for the last 3-4 years or so is just sheer laziness by the two companies (mainly IW) In 2010 for MW2 we all complained about the noob tubing and OMA, they did nothing but treyarch did. They got rid of OMA and nerfed the shite out of noobtubes but they also took out quickscoping. I remember in the summer of 2010 voting on a poll on treyarch's website that said what was the thing you were looking forward to the most and 68% were looking forward to sniping which was later basically eradicated. For the last two years I've seen so many people ranting and raving about the futuristic style of the game and how they hate it and what bothers me is I rarely see any reply form either of the two companies. Now I will be honest, Bo2 was a great game and Treyarch do interact with their fanbase a little bit but its not a whole lot. They should set up a poll and see what people want instead of ignoring the fanbase and just going along with this futuristic Tron-Titanfall-Halo clusterf#ck of a game, even though probably around 70% of the fanbase would like to go back to WW1 or WW2, or even modern day, just not 4235 and you battling against the terminator type crap,I remember doing a poll on whether or not the futuristic style of cod should be abolished and 87% voted yes and I was thanked by 19 people. You can see that here Forums/t=6645151/time-for-a-chang...ickly.html. I even have two potentially useful ideas for games like, going back to WW2 and actually being able to kill Hitler.. It's WW2 and controversial so it would get people talking.. or even modern day when you go over it Iraq and Syria and fight against the Islamic State. Now theres two games I'd buy in an instant, but that's only my opinion. As far as I can see Treyarch have to revive the series "CoD", because sadly. It's already dead. Hopefully they'll listen this time. I'll also include another poll below.
