How do you guys explain dinosaur bones, fossils and Radiometric Dating considering dinosaurs weren't in the bible?I am a Christian and if any Atheists or any other beliefs/practices are interested about knowing more about God because you might be "on the fence", then I am here for you. You can ask me anything and I'll try to answer your questions to the best of my ability. Just want to help people know God. If you want nothing to do with God, I respect your beliefs and I don't wish to bash you, but I am always praying.
Sorry for the late reply, but as said before, the Bible isnt always literal in its meaning. It's all about how you interpret it. Plus, there might have been some instances in the Bible that you could interpret as a dinosaur. Again it depends on your interpretation, but many scholars have read the Bible and concluded they are most likely dinosaurs. To give you an example:
Job 40:15-19
This is an example of the Behemoth, which is most likely related to a brachiosaurus. There's also been mentions of a Leviathan (kronosaurus) and a Tanniyn (dragon/dinosaur). The Bible also doesn't have to mention everything in the world.
Job 40:15-19
Look at Behemoth,
which I made along with you
and which feeds on grass like an ox.
16 What strength it has in its loins,
what power in the muscles of its belly!
17 Its tail sways like a cedar;
the sinews of its thighs are close-knit.
18 Its bones are tubes of bronze,
its limbs like rods of iron.
19 It ranks first among the works of God,
yet its Maker can approach it with his sword.

I believe the earth is roughly 4.5 billion years old, I believe in evolution and the big bang and all that because there are facts and proof backing it. if good proof came up tomorrow that disproved all of that and proved there's a god I would look into that and wait for some more and go to whatever religion that god is from. I do celebrate Christmas and I'm not meaning any disrespect here but this is just how I put it. I Kept the merry and dumped the myth

Grossman wroteI totally understand that. I like learning about peoples views too BUT here in the US the main religion is Christianity so I don't really bother learning about peoples views and all that because they're typically the same. I find Buddhism a very interesting religion. If I had to pick one to join it would be that. Its interesting, peaceful, nobody tries to convert you and they aren't materialistic and don't care about money nor do they ask for any like churches98SupraFanatic wroteGrossman wrote Not trying to start an argument or be ignorant or anything in that such matter but what do you believe in then? I believe in some of that as well and I'm a Christian. Scientists have stated the earth is a couple billion years old. God said he "created the earth in 7 days," but you also have to understand that time is irrelevant to Him. Thus "a day" in the Bible could really be a few million years or so. I also believe in evolution. I believe we are capable of evolving over time. Everyone should believe in atleast evolution. It makes perfect sense that humans and other organisms are capable of evolving. I do not believe in the Big Bang Theory however. I do not believe you can create something out of nothing. What caused the Big Bang? Maybe it was God commanding it. Who knows? We don't. And I take a slight offense in your statement about Christmas. I do not believe the story behind Christmas is a myth. And I as well am not trying to be disrespectful. I respect Atheism and would never try to put you down.

I respect all religions and that will not change my view on a person. Most of my closest friends are Atheists and a handful are Catholic like myself.
I'm not a devout catholic, I was baptized in a catholic church and only go to church occasionally with my grandmother. But yes science does have a lot of answers, but it also has a lot of questions.
