They don't want every other country in the world, especially China and Russia, seeing what weapons and aircraft they're developing, so it's strictly off-limits to the public.

That's it as far as I'm concerned, no aliens, no UFOs. Just experimental weapons and aircraft.

Basically just because its ran by the US Government and that is were they test out new projects such as bombs or other things. Plus, if any other country were to find out what they're making or planning on making they'll steal the idea or come up with a better one.

You're not allowed in because of the information it holds. If it were to get into the wrong hands then bad things would happen. If you were caught trying to get in you'd probably be shot dead.

That has just blown my mind, you could be so right but also so wrong!

I think they are genuinely testing out new aircrafts and technology there. Like the SR71, its was flown and tested there before they publicly stated they had that plane. But the theories begin when the guards and workers are so overly hostile or non compliant when asked about the base. And strange crafts seen flying in the area of the base that where not American or any other Countries craft. The Camo Dudes are kinda like a contracted security force, they stay around and in the base on a high point in there trucks taking surveillance all day and night. But their job isn't as hard as you would think, there is a huge straight road going to the base in a vast opening so they know you are coming from a few miles away.

Area 51 once used to be a base where they would reverse engineer alien technology. Now its just a military aircraft testing ground. The real area 51 that you're thinking of is probably located somewhere that you would never think of, like 5,000 meters below New Jersey or some other strange place but yeh...
