From experience with subaru's if you add mods that increase top speed acceleration etc. Dont thrash it straight away it maybe different with that model as its much more modern but they seem to blow the engine quickly it took 60k kms before it ran at its full potential.

No mods take 37k miles to break in haha. Most mods you just have to get tuned after but thats it then the cars fine. When you get you engine built or rebuilt it mainly the time to let it break in and let the pistons settle. That's usually only 500-1000 miles. Im sure WCDT knows what to do and what not to do anyways.

.

I broke my engine in properly, change the oil every 3-4k with rotella t6, have only taken it over 4k rpm a handful of times which is a shame since that is when the boost really starts kicking in and will not be adding any power mods until 60k since it is under warranty.

I don't really care about top speed since it is a daily driver and not a race car. I will be keeping it simple with an AOS, EBCS, catted downpipe, step colder plugs, an access port with protune and maybe a intake but not sure I could live with that swoosh noise lol
