I run an FX-6300 but I would still go for an Intel CPU because they have a far better performance and they run a far newer micro architecture, they have far better upgrade options such as the G3258 and a decent Z97 board instead of coming to upgrade and having to get both CPU and mobo.
It's not being stuck up their arse, it's choosing what is best for OP.
Sometimes we will use AMD APU's because it is far better than IGPU.

I have the Kraken X61 in my PC cooling my i7-4790K, i get really good temps (39 C average) under load with a mild 4.6Ghz overclock. Although my Kraken has a slight rattle, i'll probably take advantage of the 6 year warranty and have it RMA'd.

You again? So, you'd really prefer the quad core 760k over a quad core i5 when the i5 has far superior per core performance? You're a moron if the answer is yes. Young one, you must understand that the reason why people overclock their AMD cpus is to get "near" Intel's performance.

Example, and 8320 will have to be overclocked in order to reach the same capabilities of the 4690k.

When you start overclocking an AMD chip, your going to run into problems. First one being temperatures. Want your room to be an oven. Buy a 9590 [is the joke getting old yet? ] to keep these AM3 chips cool when overclocking, your going to need an expensive AIO or high end air cooler.

Next issue is motherboards. Getting them nice OC's out of a am3+ chip needs nice power delivery. No cheap motherboard gives that to you. More money down the drain.

Next issue is upgradability. Once you have an 8320, you have AMD's best CPU. All you have to do is overclock and your done. the 9590 is just an overclocked version of the 8320.

the 4460 is around the same price as the 8350, can run on a stock cooler and a cheap motherboard & can be upgraded to an unlocked I5/I7 if the user wants.

That sir is why AMD is so dead. It has just burnt it self out.

Power delivery is pretty important for a stable OC. The more volts your going to put through your CPU, the better power delivery you need. Thats why with an 83*0, you really want an 8+2 power phase design to get the best out of that OC... I think. Been a while since ive done any of that.

Oh, and you have H100I. Derps spending more on cooler than CPU
