Jon5220 wrote Also, if anyone is still viewing. Could you tell me what XBLSE is? Don't understand the concept of it. Sorry for the questions.

To answer your previous question, you can use the disc like a normal Xbox.

XBLSE = Xbox Live Stealth Emulated
An extremely simplified explanation would be that every time you attempt to connect to Xbox Live information about the console is verified. For example if your console's information matches the information of a console that is banned, you will not be allowed to connect to Xbox Live and a message saying that the console is banned will appear. Most of that information is stored in the console's key vault (KV.bin). Now that information can only be changed by replacing a banned KV with an unbanned KV. Unfortunately this is not the only information that is checked when you attempt to connect to Xbox Live.
I do not know enough to say exactly what is checked, but basically there are other challenges that get information about your console such as the update (kernal version) it is on and other information about the NAND. If the console's response fails the challenge's verification MS will immediately know that the console has a modified NAND and will ban it.
So what XBLSE does is spoof the challenge responses so that MS thinks the console's NAND is not modified. Therefore allowing you access Xbox Live until you are banned for some other reason.

So you do need XBLSE is the console is banned / when it becomes banned?

You need XBLSE and an unbanned KV to be able to connect to Xbox Live.

XBLSE so that it looks like you are using a retail console and won't get banned instantly.
Unbanned KV so that it looks like the console was never banned.

So I've seen how to change the KV on there, is there a process where you have to change something on XBLSE?

There isn't anything to change after you set it up.
Except maybe the HV.bin after a dashboard update.

Okay, last question (and thank you for your help ) But what if the console is banned, don't you have to go and manually change the KV?

Yes, you will have to manually change the KV.
I believe that XBLSE will allow you to just put the KV as a file on the root of your internal hard drive but I read that this is how they get stolen.
The other option would be to dump the nand and swap kv's using a computer program. But some people have trouble with this and end up messing up their nand.

*Always keep a backup of your Original NAND, CPU Key, and DVD Key. And it is not a bad idea to keep a copy of a working modded NAND and a copy of your fusesets. You can get all of this through Xell, except maybe the nand. It depends what motherboard you have.

To go online, you need your console to be unbanned as well as a Stealth Server. Once it is banned, it is banned.

After everything is set up, the easiest way to unban it is to buy a new KV, which will give you the KV.bin file. To unban your console, you just have to take that KV.bin file and copy it to your HDD, then your Stealth Server will automatically handle everything for you.
