im looking for some graphics tips i have used photoshop before but want to start messing around with it abit more would any of you guys mind sharing some tips on the use of photoshop

I would learn your tools and play around with Photoshop until you get comfortable with it. I also suggest that you keep everything you do in Photoshop simple. The more simple things are the cleaner they will look in my opinion.
