AMD is pretty dead at the moment, the only reason I see going with them if for an APU budget build. But Intel has a lot to bring to the table as far as upgrading.

What games do you play?

I plan on playing games like: Far Cry, DayZ, H1Z1, etc...

What is your budget and currency? (Pound sign does not work normally, use GBP abbreviation)
Do you need a monitor?
Do you need a keyboard?
Do you need a mouse?
Do you need an operating system?
What will you use the PC for?

I'm not sure how much I'm willing to spend at the moment. I was just asking so that I know for the future.

1. Was planning on using my BenQ
2. Wouldn't need a keyboard
3. Wouldn't need a mouse
4. Yes, would need an OS (probably windows 8)
5. Gaming & Web surfing, school work, etc...

4460 & a 970 would be wonders for you.

Come back when you have a budget & we can get a build for you together.

Well, we don't know how far in the future you're talking about. For all we know, AMD could be on top of the CPU market by then. Right now, the only reason for an AMD chip, is for FM2+ and the only reason to go with FM2+ would be for an APU for a budget rig. Otherwise, your best bet is to go with Intel.

I'm talking about within a couple months like May or June.

Here is my first attempt on a build. Honesty is very much appreciated.
