With a single turbo and im guessing its a 1.6, you're not gonna get it any cheaper.

You're pretty unlikely to find anything cheaper. At least not for a few more years as long as you keep a clean driving record in that time anyway.

the car didnt come boosted at least in the U.S.; so there for even when you boost it you dont have to tell your insurance that you did it, now mind you when you rearend someone the insurance will only pay to replace the original motor .

so take your choice cheap insurance and hope you dont have a front end accident; or pay out the ass for insurance and know all your stuffs covered no matter what.

for me ive kept cheap insurance ive owned my car for 7 yrs in the money ive saved for not paying the premium of my boosted ride i could build 2 or 3 motors exactly the same as the one in the ride now.

seeing how your 21 (remembering my 21yo days) you might want to pay to keep the motor covered we tend to be a little more risky at 21.lol

Pretty sure you have to inform your insurance company if you make any modifications to your car.

It's not smart to mod your car and not inform your insurance company because if you get into an accident and they find out one of your modifications might be the cause, they will void your insurance claim.

ive never once heard of this as a case and i should know my wifes an insurance claim adjuster. the worst that happens is they replace your car back to stock. they dont void your warranty they just wont replace your $10k motor if its not insured.

Don't tell the insurance companies. Just get liability and you'll have cheap insurance. Use your parents name and it should be really cheap. I'm guessing you're going for a drift build so I doubt you'd report to insurance if you hit something anyway. And even if your car does get into a bad accident take the motor and tranny and put it into a new 240 chassis. It might sound dumb but that's how the "240" life is.

Don't tell the insurance but remember that you have to be careful. Never say you never going to get into a accidemt.
