It's not bad at all.

My first job was 12 hours a day 4 days a week @ 8.25GBP /Hour

Now that does take getting used to.

Dazeo wrote 13,182 per year, I would recommend devoting your time to college + university, you have the opportunity to earn a lot more then.

In other countries that may be true but in the UK its pretty much far from it, I know those who done the whole college + uni thing and still see them every other Thursday signing for their 115 a fortnight, and then see the facebook status 2 days after payday saying their broke because they spent it all on cheap cider and shit they can't afford. The life of a typical Brit.

OP: 13k a year is excellent although for your first job 39 hours a week may take some time to get used to.

Hope you get it dude! Good luck

Way to bring a downer on the topic my friend, yes we are all entitled to our own opinion but not need to instantly turn it into a hate topic saying all British people are on benefits, how would you like it if we said all Americans are fat and lazy flag waving patriot who sits with a burger in one hand and a gun in the other.

camp take it up !
for a 17yr old any money is awesome, and 6:50 an hour for 39 hours works out to not be to shabby at all.

i would take it up !
you will regret it if you dont, trust me.

253.50 a week for your first job is not bad.
