I know many of you have seen the television show series "Catfish" & I think it's bizarre on how messed up these girl/guys get screwed over by someone that pretends to be someone else. I just want to know what you guys think about long distance relationships , have you ever been in one, do you think people should go out & find their mate? I have had some experience with this before but I wouldn't really call it long distance if someone lived like an hour away from me .... I guess. So what do you guys think about this?

I think its weird when people date on Xbox or PSN.

Like Girl Gamers and Guy Gamers will be dating but living 5000 Miles away from eachother.

well long distance doesnt alwayays mean met long distance, my first girlfriend moved 3 states away when we were dating, ended up breaking up because long distance sucks.

Anyway, catfishing is so childish and messed up. Its kinda interesting though how people get along fine and then when they find out the other person is ugly, all feelings are lost. Kinda superficial to me, but it makes sense why someone would be upset. My best friend got catfished and hes still emotionally torn up, its been like 2 months..

Yeah this is one thing I hate to see honestly , but I'm just talking about someone you really know very well & they had to move or something in that matter.

Being in a long-distance relationship does have that risk. While if you trust the other person it should not be an issue.

While it can still be great to find someone online.

I personally have been in a long distance relationship before, and it was not that great. Terrible to be totally honest. I think I made the choice to go through with it because I was younger and was not as confident as I am now towards my opposite gender, but I think that 99.9% of LDRs end or are lies from the start and never really get going. That being said, a lot of people in our generation have made lasting relationships from long distance.

This is a prime example of why not to trust internet strangers.

i met my girlfriend online at a call of duty match and now were moved in together and living a happy life, but if there dating and its not going anywhere then its a waste of time.

I think people should stop really caring what people do with their personal relationship lives. A lot of those genuine long distant and/or online relationships with lots of potential end because of the stereotypes put on them by society (seen it happen).
