It was nothing paranormal as I could see the shadow of someone outside.
Wish me luck though, it's coming up to 11am and I'll see if it happens again.

I'm in bed downstairs with the lights on and door locked.
Will have to wait and see what happens.

Well living in the country like I do now I'd more then likely answer the door with a gun out.
but before I moved into a rural country area I would guess it's someone needing help, how ever I'd be careful about it.

To my knowledge burglars do this to check if you are home or not, they will knock at your door to see if its opened/lights turn on etc and if nothing happens they will break in.

Well our house is kinda out of the ordinary. We have flood lights all over our yard that we can turn on some are set to motion thou. If this happened to be all those flood lights would be on and i would answer the door with my gun in my hand. You never know who might be on the otherside.

There's a couple scenarios that could play out. It could be someone in trouble needing your help, A robber isn't just gonna knock on your door, Or if it is a bad guy not all people do this but we have fire power available within a stones throw from our door.
