So im looking for a new complete car sound system.

I need help finding some stuff.

this is what I for sure WANT.

-2 15' Alpine Type R Subwoofers. They run 750W a piece. peaked at 2000

-JBL GTO939 three way speakers. 300W. (JBL speakers throughout the car)

I drive a 2015 Subaru WRX if that helps for any reason.

Can you guys help me fill the missing pieces please? (amp/s, do I need capacitors?, etc...)

please can you guys help me with the rest. thank you so much.

Are you stuck on those subs? You can get A LOT better subs for the money you're going to spend on two type r's.

If you are set on those subs, I would pair those with a decently efficient amp.

Hifonics 2k or 2400
SoundQubed 2200
SAZ 2200
If you want something properly stable at lower voltage you can go with a brazilian board, possibly Taramps?

No I heavily suggest you DO NOT use capacitors. Why? Because they fuggin dumb and not good for your electrical.

I assume you would like some wiring suggestions?

Sky High Car Audio or KnuKonceptz.

Only two brands that I use. Oversized wire at a great price.

Also suggest using their RCA's. Great quality they have

I'm willing to consider any subs or Amps if you can name me some. I was just looking for something quite main stream because I buy my stuff at a garage for very cheap and I don't think they have any underground brands.

So if you can let me know on some good sub brands for 15 inch that would be great. They need to be pretty main stream so I have a better chance of getting them.

Another question, for amps. Can I run all subs and speakers on just one amp. Does such amp exist? If so, please some suggestions. Along the lines of being main stream as well for the same situation.

Before I start to list some things, what is your budget?

The type r's you listed go for 300-350 online, but I don't know what you get them for.

As for an amp that can power all your speakers, yes.

They have 5/6 channel amps, but usually they aren't as powerful as a set mono block amp that would be solely dedicated to the sub(s).

I recommend two amps, one 4 channel for the speakers and one monoblock amp for you sub(s).

Nothing wrong with 2 15in alpine type r's. I had them in my suburban and it was loud. Do the whole put change on the roof and rattle it completely off. It'll be plenty loud enough for you. I'll say this I played it outside my dads restaurant that's a concert building and he came out thinking the air conditioner on the room was going bad.

Never said they were bad subs.

I've ran Apline before, there's nothing wrong with them.

It's just the money that OP will spend on two Type R 15's, he could get way better subs.

And btw one 6.5 inch sub can rattle a penny off a roof....

Budget isn't a worry. Like I said, I get them for real cheap so if I told you a budget, we would be on two different pages.

I'm up for any brand suggestions but make sure they are main stream. I appreciate the time you are putting into this forum.

If you can give a write out of a full setup for my car. That would be amazing. (Subs?, JBL speakers, amps?, wiring?, etc...)

Thank you again. Oh and make sure they come in 15 inch please

If budget isn't a problem then by all means please take a look at these:

The below listed subs will be in the $300+ price range

Sundown Audio X Series: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Very conservatively rated at 1250 watts rms
Amazing sub, I had one 18 inch version in my room before I moved out.

If you even want to spend a bit more and get more power out of a very similar sub, take a look at the Zv4 version on that above site

SoundQubed HDC3 Series: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Also very conservatively rated at 1500 watts rms
Over 50 pounds of sub with a 340 oz magnet, this thing will take whatever you throw at it.

If you want to spend a bit more you can get more power out of its older brother, the HDC4 model. Rated at 2000 rms but they've been known to handle 3500 constant with clean signal.

The very well known Orion HCCA series: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Rated at 2000 watts rms, this sub is a power house. Will basically eat everything under 2500-3000 watts rms.

The HCCA series has been subject to very little change over the years because of it amazing quality and design.

Fi BL series: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Conservatively rated at 1500 watts rms, buddy of mine has two of these in the 18 inch version and powers them at 3500 rms each sub. So you can see what I mean by "conservatively".

This sub is also very customizable.

This sub design, just like the orion, has been around for a very long time.

The UFO motor design came out 10+ years ago, I think...?

DC Audio Level 4: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Rated at 1400 watts rms, this sub will take 2500+ rms all day at clean signal.

Over 50+ pounds of sub, its a beast.

DC Audio also has a Level 3 or 5 if you want to go bigger/smaller

That's just a few subs I would take a look it.

However, all of these sub will require something pretty power to get them to even move. So here are some amps I would check out.

Obviously the above brands are HQ with their subs and amp so you will see some similar names.

Crescendo Audio BC 2000D: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

I own a total of six crescendo amps. This is my first choice when it comes to amplifiers.
One of the most HQ companies in car audio.

I don't have this particular model, but the BC3500 does more than I need it to so I wouldn't expect anything less with the BC2000.

Sundown Audio SVC-2000D: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

A very HQ amp that is stable at high voltage.
If voltage is good this amp will do more than what its actually rated.

Also available in a 3000/4000 watt model.

Soundsteam TA1.3000D: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

I actually owned four of these amps for my 18's before I upgraded to crescendo.

Recently discontinued and replaced by a newer model: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

This amp is great if you treat it right. It actually weighs nearly 20 pounds. It's nothing short of quality.

DC Audio 2.0K: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

This is will do as told and give you no problems. It's very similar to the Sundown amp I listed above.

They also have a 3.5K model if you want the upgraded power

If you're looking for something a bit cheaper take a look at these brands below:

Hifonics
NVX
Lanzar (NEWER MODELS PLEASE)
Massive Audio
RE Audio
