I usually don't complain about school and homework but I am not going to lie I have in the past but usually I just complain about teachers. Most people who do complain think that its easy to live without an education and it really isn't unless your a famous youtuber or something else like that. I dont really mind when people complain about school or homework its just when someone says dumb shit "what does school even do".

I feel your pain man, I just don't understand how some people can ask questions like that. From primary school to high school, college and then university there are many different things that can be picked up on the way and be used further on in life.

I kind of agree, but school is boring.

School is needed yes but a lot of the stuff they teach you in grade school is pointless, college on the other hand actually helps.

Okay so yeah people that openly complain about school is annoying, but do they have a point? maybe?.

I left college 3/4 though my freshman year. Although I left a bunch of old friends from high school there it was/is one of the best decisions I ever made in my life. I believe that school is good yes, but necessary for real world scenarios...no.

The whole thing started where during christmas break when I was looking for a part time job at UPS, got hired and after break they wanted me back. I weighed my options during the spring semester and determined that leaving school would better than paying those thousands of thousands of dollars for the next 50 years of my life. I'd like to have a retirement.

Now here I am 20 years old and in a few months I could be making 6,000 a month...without a college diploma.

Also, being honest. When EVER in my life am I going to use freaking trigonometry in my life?

When I did charity work in Zambia, a child at a school I helped renovate had to walk 4 miles every morning at 5 am, to get water for her family. She craved for an education, it was the only thing she had ever wanted.

Spoilt 1st world children take the most basic things for granted, they should be grateful for the life they have been given. They should be especially grateful for their education.

I went to Harrow, one of the best boarding schools in Great Britain. I never took a day for granted, I never missed a day of school. I look back on my days as a Harrovian, and honestly, they were the best years of my life.

ZTG wrote School is needed but some of the stuff they teach is never needed. Like learning Algebra, spreadsheets, excel. Some of the stuff they teach us can be a waste of time -_-

Never prepared us to pay taxes

Excel, never needed? Excel is one of the most used tools in global industry due to its functionality.

Bruh, I pray you decide not to do any work in IT since Excel, Spreadsheet and Algebraic knowledge need to be applied daily.
