People get so caught up with the harsh rules of the old testament that they forget that the new testament is all about forgiveness with faith and to love everyone as equals. Its sad.

I think that it is awesome that they legalized gay marriage honestly, if you like someone of the same sex and it makes you happy more power to you.

I understand, I never once said I am against gay marriage to the extent that most people believe. But yes I am against it. The reason is that I grew up believing that marriage was between a man and a women and im not a man of change. I never once said that I am against gay people being happy and loving each other. Cool, good for them for finding something or someone that they love. But do not take it any further aka Marriage. But I also believe it should be up to the states to decide whether it should be legal or not that is what I am really against. The supreme court just enacted an unconstitutional ban on this. According to the 10th amendment it should have been left up to the states.

From an outsider looking in, America was starting to look incredibly bad with this - so much racism, so many kills (disproportionate to your population), homophobia in big business...You were losing international credibility and this is a very good start on improving it. Making it a national law was necessary.

Again, I'm from the UK and obviously don't have a legitimate view but it's narrow-minded to not look at all angles.

Today's verdict was about the Constitution, you know, that thing local law doesn't have a choice but to abide by.
The ruling was that it violates the 14th Amendment to ban same sex marriage.

Doesn't affect me what so ever, I don't support gay marriage or gays in general, but I'm not the one to make a big deal about it and preach about it. Good for them, it is only fair for anybody and anyone to be able to marry whoever they love.

Sweet this is cool, now everything is fair.
