I have had it!, I'm fresh out of college with my qualifications and such, yet all the jobs i apply for require years of experience. I have even tried looking for some entry level positions yet those also seem to require a year of experience. i ask you how can i get any experience to get the job when you wont let me have a change to gain any?

Has this happened to anyone else or have you been passed up for a job that offers "full training" and yet jobs are given to those who have the experience you are trying to gain?

I have been looking for jobs in hospitality and catering, yet none seem willing to hire me at the moment.

Where about are you from? Just put on your cv that you have the experience. They don't know the difference.

What I have done is work in high school. Worked at 2 restaurants. That gives me some work experience. If you didn't get like a small part time job in school that's what you should have done. A lot of part time jobs will hire people who have never had a job just because it's part time and they're are willing to train them.

That's why I'm not going to college lol.

"My teachers tell me go away to college, but what they don't tell you is there aint to guarantees if you're a scholar, even with 10 degrees you could be jobless with uncle Sam in your pocket" - MGK

It is an employers pick out there. They can choose the guy who went to school and knows the job as the books tell them for 4 years, or they can take the kid who has done the job for 4 years and knows how it really works.

Well it depends on what you want to do. Obviously you can't be a doctor without going to school. There are some jobs you don't need to go to school for, but it is much easier to get a HIGH PAYING job by going through college.

Going to college would increases chances of getting High Paying job, but you don't need to for high pay.

Hell open up your own business, build its rep up, and you're your own boss making great money and didn't even go to school.

Yes, as I said it makes it easier to get a high paying job, it's not like you cant get one without it, it just makes it simpler.
