Some of the electronic stuff isn't bad, much better than it was 2-3 years ago.

I agree. A lot of "Popular" music now a-days has no meaning and just about random things.

But this is why I don't listen to the radio or things in that nature. There are many artists out there that are making music at has lots of meaning and you can hear that through the lyrics, for example:

(A song about his drug addiction)

You never hear the radio play things like this

Mac is a diamond in the rough, there aren't very many with the talent he has.
He has lyrical ability, flow, and passion in his music.

It is honestly such a circle jerk to say music now is bad. Literally every generation music changes and every generation people say it is getting worse. You will always have people who liked the older generation of music before them.

Music is just as good as it ever has been and is just as good as it will ever be. Please enlighten me on how deep lyrics were in the 90's and before. Last time I checked.

Stop thinking you are better than everyone else because of your music tastes.

Also about lyrics having no meaning today, the vast majority of the most popular songs don't have any real meaning. I googled top songs of the 90's and some website gave me smells like teen spirit and baby one more time as number 2 and 1 respectively. Would you care to please enlighten me on the depth of the lyrics in both of those songs. Thanks!

Don't watch music video's so couldn't care what the people look like in them. All I care about is the songs and although some don't have any meaning, I personally much prefer a good beat rather than a meaning to the song.
