So we just got new internet the other day and it is 100/100 but my room is on the other side of the house and down stairs and i am getting about 55/55.

Should i just run a Ethernet cable from the router to my room to an extender so i can plug different devices to it or should i get a wifi extender

Basically the same for me.

I use a Ethernet cable with a router extender kinda thing, but the thing about WiFi extenders is that their quite expensive, some people say their good, others say it's a waste of money, if I were you, go for the Ethernet cable!

When you use wifi, you still won't get the entire speed that you are getting through a cable. If I were you I would go with an ethernet cable just because you get the full speed you are paying for.

Just get a powerline adapter then you dont have to worry about a long cable going through the house

If you want to run it to multiple devices then you need a network switch or an access point.

(Fairly sure this is what you need)
