Nope no peripherals needed. It'll mostly be used for gaming and light video editing.

2GB of VRAM isn't really enough nowadays, it can make a huge difference in VRAM heavy games. SSD for OS and a couple of games.

Considering stock cooler is satisfactory for stock clocks, a £15 cooler will easily do the job and if you think it won't, you're really going to need to educate yourself. The Gammaxx 300 is queiter than $50+ AIOs. OP could easily swap it for a TX3 if he wants. Plus, I never dropped the HDD to add "a terrible heatsink" but OP can quite easily drop the 250GB SSD and cooler for an HDD and 120GB SSD if he prefers. Fact is, however, a 250GB SSD and a cooler is a much better choice if OP can add an HDD soon.

With a small library of games, I go well over 400gb of games. Not to mention 2tb of mechanical storage. It would make more sense to get a HD now and upgrade the cooler later if the OP wants to cool it better. You said yourself, the stock cooler is fine.

I never "went wrong" anywhere. What you meant was that you were pointing out changes you would personally make. I wouldn't go near the V300s personally, especially since a 120GB Fury is only £5 more. I did say that OP could drop the cooler and get a HDD with a smaller SSD. However, if you think the Gammax is a "terrible heatsink", you might want to look at performance tests, stock cooler is worse.

If OP can add an HDD asap, he's be better with the larger SSD and cooler for now. If not, yes, 1TB HDD, smaller SSD and stock cooler will do better. It'd also let him add a nicer cooler, like a Pure Rock at a later date. However, 1.1TB could still be fairly minimal. I've had a 250GB SSD and 2TB HDD with a 500GB external HDD for only a few months and am already running out of storage.
