Personally, I would go with NVidia over AMD if you're looking to upgrade in the future (AMD fanboys don't even try to say otherwise). Sure AMD is OK, but for a longer term PC go with NVidia. Anyways.....

OP-Literally ignore everything this guy has said. No need for an i7 for gaming, and you may as well go with Skylake now, as opposed to Haswell anyway. He's clearly an NVidia fan boy. AMD GPU's are perfectly fine. Let's leave that there. As for claiming that NVidia GPU's will last longer, that's just absolutely ridiculous. If anything, AMD's older cards are holding up better than NVidia's older cards and I can only imagine the future to be the same since the 970 memory bandwidth is poor, compared to a 390, plus the 390 has that 8GB VRAM. You absolutely do not need "AT LEAST 750W". Quality matters much more than the wattage. A good quality 450W-500W unit is enough to power any modern single CPU/single GPU rig. A case isn't going to cost anywhere near $200. You don't even need to pay more than $40-$50 for a case. Obviously though, the more you spend the better you get and more features. 8GB of DDR3 RAM is like $30, not $75 lmfao. OS is not $100. Retail price for OS is like $100 but only idiots pay retail price for OS. You can easily get your OS for free or for like $30, if you need to pay for it, which you don't. SSD for OS and what not, 2TB HDD for mass storage. You can OC the BCLK on the 6500 with that Z170 mobo(update to the latest BIOS if you want to do so). The M9i is a nice, cheap cooler, and will allow you to OC a bit. XFire support so you can easily add a 2nd 390 to the rig at any point, if you need/want. Nice case with a nice window. I've built in the Enthoo Pro M and it's hecka ez.

Thanks for all the feedback im looking at a budget of 800-1100, and i have a benq gaming monitor that i use to play console games on already. And dont need keyboard, mouse, or headset because i already have those. I use astro a40s for headset
