Honestly im tired of Horror movies. now days the majority of them are "Camera-recorded" idk the term. I just want a good scarry movie and not have a person holding camera and walking around and have jump scares.

I can't speak for The Visit, other than the fact that most/all of M. Night Shyamalan's movies aren't scary horror movies. If anything they would be more of a psychological thriller.
For Krampus and Pride & Prejudice, those movies were clearly advertised as a comedy horror. You couldn't have possible entered the theater and expected a serious movie if you simply watched the trailer. Just like Cabin in the Woods, it has the structure of a horror movie, but many comedic elements are thrown in there. It's purposely meant to be comedic, not scary.
Some of the actual horror movie that are out right now, (Can't say theyre good), would be The Boy or The Forest. Those movies are written and filmed to be serious horror films.

I agree most movies are trash nowadays and there always usually like a paranormal activity remake or something along the lines with a ghost or demon movies.
