not worth spending $170 on a case at all.
OP, build is ok but could be a lot better, again 212 evo is a no in this budget and the mobo wil look funny because it is rather slim due to being made by Gigabyte.

What would you suggest for a cooler?

cheaper GPU (but same make so will perform the same)
Two sticks of RAM for dual channel mode (faster and if one dies you have another)
and a case

I have two 8 GB RAM sticks.

Looking for a white case as well with a window.

Well, the case is no problem; use his BUILD it's great.

Instead of buying the case listed, use this one: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

I like the skylake build. Provides upgradability and future proofing.

If you won't be overclocking you do not need a $100 dollar cooler. Anything $50 or below will be sufficient. If I were you I would sacrifice some parts to spend on a 980 over a 970, unless you are waiting for Pascal, then the 970 is fine too.

Any noctua cooler should be good, but I personally like this one because the brown noctua is a nasty color to me: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

H105 is a waste as the 6700 can't be overclocked anymore like it could be a few months ago.

other than that, it's a decent build.
