I used to have a 24" monitor for gaming and it was awesome! It felt so smooth to play on, it took a little adjusting but once I got used to it then it was great.

I love playing on 32inch LED TV.

Good graphics and for me the perfect size for gaming and TV.

In my books, a size matters because the bigger the TV is the more you can see in that sense. If you got a 42'inch TV why not get a 50 inch TV? As you've stated your money level is $1000 so 50 inch TV's are more. I would go for a TV that's in the 40's like 48'inch TV maybe?

Go big or go home, plus it's $300 off

55inch 4k. I would get a smart TV though. You'd be paying for something you'll probably never use

Not neccessarily. if you're playing FPS shooters than a smaller tv/monitor is better because it won't cause eye strain or eye fatigue. But if you're playing adventure games then sure, go big or go home.

If your going to game on it I'd suggest a monitor. But I play on a 32" and I want a smaller one like a 24"

I have recently picked up a BenQ 24" gaming monitor and there is really nothing better. Low latency, low hertz.
