I'm in my final year of secondary school and obviously my GCSE's/Exams are upcoming and I really cannot revise, whenever I try I either get distracted or if I stay focused for an hour I just seem to forget anything I revise.

So my question to you's is what's your methods for revising and what's some tips?

I didn't tbh.

It depends on the individual. Lots of my friends did 30 minutes revision and 5 mins break but I found school boring and the majority of stuff I could recall anyway so revision would do nothing for me.

If you are not generally good with remembering stuff over a long period of time just wait till the week before then revise. Leading upto the exam your teachers usually use some lessons as revision lessons.

I'm not necessarily the most intelligent person so I wouldn't risk that as I need to get B's and A's and at the minute I'm sitting on C's

Nearing the time of your exams there could be chances for after school classes which help out.

Also I would not be so worried about getting A* on your exams, alot of your subjects will have course work included which bump up your grade significantly.

I would also try to do past exam papers for your key subjects maybe once a week to monitor any progress you make. This will also help with how the exam is structured.

Best of luck

I know you's might say wait or don't do revision but my family are quite strict on my grades and have high hopes within me achieving them as I've always stuck in but I cannot seem to remember anything I learn, we already do after school revision but they aren't enough. I like the idea of past papers so I'm going to do that. Thanks for the advice

I sit in a quite room and just go over stuff for about an hour at a time, short bursts works for me after an hour I start not caring and getting distracted.
