#1. Are you willing to answer and say an accurate annual net worth of The Tech Game?
#2. Do you guys have plans to revamp the site again meaning a new version anytime soon?
#3. If a member here takes part in illegal activities such as fraud or scamming another user, have you ever contacted a local authority regarding that user and the offense they have committed(Only if it was illegal and was subject to arrest)

You're only worth what someone is willing pay. Instagram made no money but Facebook paid 1 Billion for it. acquisition attempts have been put forward before to take over TTG by large corporations. I can't name them just know its happened every year since 2011 and some of them are very big.
One offer was totally insane at the age of 22 I made one of the biggest decisions in my life at that time and that was to turn it down based on my principles. the company wanted to merge TTG into another one of their gaming sites a very large one. the reason I turned it down was because they were not clear to me about how user details and data would be handled. The way I look at it people signing up here put their trust in me to look after their data but not only that its the platform they've used to invest sometimes days of time creating posts or threads that's without things like gifting users.
I'm not driven by money I have no interest in being rich I just want to be happy and running TTG makes me happy without the users who have put their time and money into here TTG would not of been able to stay independent and that's a very rare thing for a site of this size.

We will comply with valid court orders.
I was offered no support or legal statement (paperwork for bank case) when I got scammed for over £50 GBP by a user on here (In the oh so fabled gold sections), which I am still yet to get back, contacting my bank, paperwork and a bunch of other 'legal things'. Would be nice if I could get some sort of a document sorted with a senior member of staff. About 2 or so months ago.
Off topic and not a question but i wouldnt know who to contact about it. Especially as I lost all the messages about it due to my gold expiring and having to clear my inbox.

Sorry I fell asleep not long after I posted this. Going to blame my 6am-2pm shifts in work. I will apologise in advance for the long post!
No idea - and I have tried to get Sean to add it back without any luck.
Not sure what the current update on this is - telli has been swamped with other work and enjoying the holidays as he so rightly should.
Pretty sure he has tried on more than 1 occasion to prevent his wife from spending his money but I don't think he has been successful
I will answer more questions soon - working my way through the thread.
Matthew- wrote How many people have you banned?

What is the best thing about being an admin?
This is to all admins
Somewhere between a lots and not enough. (A lot of our bans have been overturned over the years to run with the new policies and appeals)
Just the same with a few extra options to tweak the profile for resetting inappropriate content/checking access history/editing settings ect.
I'd say having the opportunity to make a difference on the site. I know that I would go insane if I was a normal member again at this point after being staff for 6+ years. Being able to see something that you know is against the rules and dealing with it keeps me sane.

Pls don't make famous admin
I always find this discussion funny. I actually don't drink as much as people think I do - the thing is I am always open to discussion over alcohol and events/gigs that I attend so it seems as if I am an alcoholic. I like to think i'm just festive all year round.

ZTG wrote Is being an Administrator, a full time thing?
Yes and no.
Same as everyone else we all have lives outside of the site. I'm extremely busy with my work currently and not been able to spend as much time on here as I wish however when I do I usually split it between catching up with members in the shoutbox and staff duties.

Do any staff members argue with eachother frequently? ( if so who?)
What does the average user profile look like?
Why not make the TTG YouTub channel more frequently used?
Who is the most superior Admin
I have banned ex-staff who have went on to break the rules by leaking staff content if that counts? I actually have a funny story about this situation though - About 2/3 years ago I was playing xbox overnight with rickshaw. I can't remember where the discussion went but long story short he said I had "no balls" to ban him and he banned me from XboxMB. Well I banned him and it totally messed with his account. When I unbanned him he did not have any access to the staff features and it involved a very upset Sean... so i'm no longer allowed to touch staff accounts.
I wouldn't say any staff members argue with each other at all as far as I am aware? We all realise we are in the same situation on the site and all volunteer our time to make this as enjoyable as possible.
I would love to see the youtube become more active but with the v5 implimentation and a lot of other tweaks and updates it has unfortunately not been as high. Hopefully come 2017 we can push this hard and make more of a presence there.
I'd have to go Sean, after all he does own the site.

RepBandit wrote Have any of the admin met in real life?
@Dale do you ever party sober? Did you put senior admin on your real life resume?
I have met up with Bulletstorm (ex-admin) this year as well as G_Man - great guys who hopefully I will have the chance to meet up with again and bulletstorm will last after 9:30pm drinking.
Yeah I party sober, it's not any good when people I am with are drunk and you realise how much alcohol numbs your mind to deal with them.
I have actually listed Senior Administrator on my linkedin - To be fair, who can say they have been part of a management team for over 6 years to handle over 2 million people? Sean has always said he will support me with any references for work on the site as well if required for jobs and I have used TheTechGame in job interviews to discuss hobbies/extra work I have undertaken.

I would like to think I best get along with all the staff. I'd regularly play on xbox with Sean/Naggy/Suhpose though.
I just join the shoutbox and chat away to whoever is there, I don't have any favorites.

-Elizabeth- wrote How does someone become a mod??
We choose members who are extremely active, give a good impression, stick to the rules and we feel that they would be a good addition to the team . We previously had requirements where you would not be promoted if you had more than 2 warnings but that has long overturned
Thespian wrote What did you get for Christmas?
I didn't have to pay my rent to my parents (Yep, still living at home as I spend all my money on festivals abroad) so that worked out a nice amount of money saved.
Boss wrote Applies to all Administrators.

Do you like being part of the staff?
What does it take to join the staff team?
I absolutely love being an Admin however at the end of the day, just like everyone else i'm only a guy at the other side of a PC. There are good and bad times where there can be lots of work to be done on the site or drama happens with scamming but that comes with all the good of the community this site provides.

I hope to go to Tomorrowland one year. I'm booked back up for Snowbombing festival this April but Tomorrowland is definitely on my bucket list.

Adminators,
If you were a commander of the Roman Army in 200 BCE, how would you control your army, who would you take over, why and how?
Second, awesome badge pl0x? (just a joke)
Lastly, Dale, why do you break things?

You can contact any admin for issues like this.
Unfortunately, like any other marketplace, the transaction is ultimately between you and the seller. With the exception of banning the member from the site, there is no further action we can take to assist you in recovering the funds. That is between you and your bank.
