You're not overclocking so the 7700k isn't worth the premium. No need for a beefy cooler either, H7 will do the job. 1440p 165Hz G-Sync panel. This bad boy will last you years and the GTX 1070 is the best GPU to pair it with for now. SLI support so you can add a 2nd GTX 1070 in the future if you want. Nice big SSD. 525GB will be fine for now, and you can add an HDD when you have some more money.

Switched out the ssd for a bigger one that is not too much over 1700 but gives you a lot more space with about the same performance

He needs a monitor because he doesn't currently have one, your just being dumb, a 1070 is more then sufficent for 1440p

Just buy a prebuilt computer if you are bad at assembling / buying parts.

There's no reason to buy an HDD instead of an SSD. An SSD is objectively better. You want to get an SSD first to get your OS installed on there. 525GB is plenty of storage to last until you can get $40-70 for an HDD.
@GT40 7700K and H5 are a waste. He's not overclocking. Not a good monitor. At that price range, the QNIX QX2710 would be better. He can get a 165Hz G-Sync 1440p panel though.
OP- If you're dead set on getting an HDD within budget;

8GB RAM is fine for now and you can add another 8GB when you have a spare $50. Cheaper cooler but it's still more than sufficient since you're not overclocking. Or you could get a Phanteks Eclipse P400 instead of the Enthoo Pro and used the money saved to get 16GB RAM or the Cryorig H7.

The only thing I disagree with is the 8gb of ram. Its not enough if you plan on haivng things like chrome, discord, and some other small things in the background while you game. Spend the extra $30 and get 16gb. Beleive me.

That's just not true. 8GB is still plenty fine. Who said OP was going to use Chrome, Discord, and several other programs while also gaming? Also, I suggested 16GB RAM anyway.
