THQ wrote I did this, but for ebay. I didn't know what a "seller fee" was and I sold about a thousand dollars worth of crap In a month and the month after I got an email saying I owe I think it was about 200 something. Well I was mad and I ended up just unliking the PayPal from the eBay account, then unlinking the credit card from the PayPal account and making new of each. This was about 2 years ago and they said they would send debt collectors and find a way to get the money blah blah. I stopped getting emails last January. These companies don't care about that small sum of money in my opinion. It seems everyone else has had different experiences though where PayPal makes unauthorized bank chArges. It's worth a try to just unlink bank account though and see what they decide to do

This is the problem with all of you. You think they forget about it. Yet it's on your credit record. It will never go away. And if you linked your card you also put your social security card number there for that number is attached to you for life. Anything credit related money owed. You will never get away with not owing. I am a lot older then most the people on this site. Been thru it. Been there done that. It never leaves. Just like getting a ticket from a cop it never goes away!

First of all your dealing with money just as if it's a bank or credit union. Since it's money it's considered A felony.

If you do not pay them they will take right from credit card or bank account!

If you do not have this and your under the age of 18 they could garnish your wages. Or freeze your accounts

If your 18 or older and you do not pay them you will be fined or prisoned until the money is paid or longer. What seems to you as no big deal can turn your life upside down

If linked to parents account they can do this also garnish there wages or put them in prison. This is a Federal offense due to your dealing with money.

They cannot and will not just take it from your account, they're not allowed.
My friend owe's them over £500 and has his bank card and account linked, all they do is send letters about debt collection. You'll be fine
yes they will eventually!!! It's money borrowed you borrow you owe!!

I owe them like £178 and they haven't done anything & my friend has owed over £500 for over a year, they will just send threats. It would cost them more than its worth to send out debt collectors for fee's under £1000

. This is why you have IP address. They can find you no matter what

True.. i never really thought of that.. Yeah i guess best bet is to pay up.

Yep

Here the thing. Your IP address is thru a company you pay money to , to have Internet when you sign up for Internet they ask you for social security number. And sites like PayPal or any forum site can track your IP address someone who is collections money can get your information thru your internet provider. And get you mailing address to send lawyers to collect the money so don't ever think your safe or getting away with anything that you pay for etc. cause just cause your online your identifiable

your right it will cost them more to get that money. But. You will be paying. Anything extra when they catch up to you. Your time will come! And when it does you will be paying the extra! This is why the economy takes a shit people do not pay there bills! Always borrowing and never paying there debts!!!

I owed like 120$ to PayPal a few years ago. I was broke and couldn't pay, so I just never logged back in. I was getting emails threatening to close my account because of insufficient funds.

I went back sometime later to open up another account and I just chatted with PayPal and paid the 120$ and made a new one. Contact never went any further than an email.

I was 19 and it never showed up on my credit report. Left it unpaid for nearly 2 years.
