Cheap, pretty shitty 1080p monitor but it'll do the job. Re-use whatever storage you have, and add an SSD when you can. Much better quality PSU than the XFX XT unit. Pentium G4560 is your only option for CPU really. For GPU, you can get RX 460s for around £80, but you might be able to find a used GTX 950/960 or R9 280(x), 285, or 380(x) for around the same price. If you can find any of those, that would be a better option as they all perform similar to a GTX 1050Ti, or slightly better.

Ask the manufacturer/provider. They usually can do it free/slightly charged. Don't just skim topics, it was a slight mistake, but leaving out an essential usually isn't the best idea.

OP: As 13 said, you can just look around for used GPU's at a fraction of retail, and personally with a tight budget like this, i would look around for your monitor(s) as well at a used price.

The money spent shipping the motherboard to the manufacturer could easily cover the cost of an updated motherboard. And as far as I know, I've never seen where a manufacturer has updated a motherboard for someone. They're manufacturers and makers. They provide products for consumers, not update BIOS for people.

?? Why bring up Seasonic, and FSP lmao? They're irrelevant. I never said the XFX XT was bad, I said that the unit I recommended is better(which it is). However, XFX XT units actually are pretty bad. Which to be fair, I wasn't aware of until fairly recently. Pretty much every single XFX PSU apart from the XT line are really solid. The XT units however, are worse quality than the old, green label Corsair CX units. In fact, the XT's are as bad as Corsair VS units. If they're cheap, and there's no other decent PSU for a similar price, then sure, the XT would be fine. In this case though, it's a terrible option.

*may* need an update. It could very well have the latest BIOS on it already. It's been almost 8 months since Kaby Lake released, and I very much doubt OP is going to buy a motherboard that has been sitting in storage for longer than 8 months, so it shouldn't be an issue. That said, he can just ask whoever he buys the board from to update the BIOS for him.

The manufacturers, like Asus, MSI etc, have the latest BIOS on every motherboard when it leaves the factory. Vendors like Newegg, Scan, etc technically have to provide working hardware so if the BIOS is not compatible with your system, they should update it for you.

I've had friends ask Newegg to update the BIOS on H110 motherboards for them and they do it, every time(at least that I know of). Amazon are probably less likely to do it. However, I know for a fact that Scan in the UK do update the BIOS for you, for a small fee as back in the Haswell days, I had many friends buy H81 chipset motherboards for Haswell Refresh CPUs. Scan were doing non stop BIOS updates on H81 boards back then lol. I think Overclockers UK will do BIOS updates as well, not sure if they charge or not.

I literally said that the only way it won't have the relevant BIOS is if the motherboard has been sitting in storage for more than 8 months, which is unlikely. Again though, if that were the case, it's not hard to have the BIOS updated. It's much easier than spending an extra £30 or so that he doesn't have on a motherboard.

Yeah, XFX units(apart from the XT) are all super solid. The XT, however, that you recommended, is not great, and the Super Flower unit I recommended would be a far better option.
