Since I bought my first car I have done a few mods to it such as, lowering 40mm, tinting rear windows, de-strip, de-wiper, wind deflectors, aftermarket radio, retro styled number plate and new alloys. I am now debating whether to get some angel eye headlights or some new SRI lower grilles.
This is how my car looks right now:

Depends if you're going for performance or looks still. I think painting your head light assemblies black on the inside, always looks clean as hell. Then if you did that, you could lightly smoke your tail lights. Performance, you could do the simple, intake and exhaust, that'll make a difference.
This is what painting the assembly black would look like:

If those are the only two options I'd go with the grill.
To me any aftermarket headlight on any vehicle looks cheap and out of place. I'm not saying they are, I'm just saying to me they don't look right.

I'm not a fan of after market headlights either, that's why I'd say just paint the assembly

Saving for full Z20LET conversion, it's a 2.0L turbo, also the tail lights are tinted/smokey factory new.
