Saki wrote You can't really make someone like you. I know it sucks to have feelings for someone and not have them return those feelings, but there's really nothing you can do to change how they think of you.

boi he's trying to find ways to stop thinking about her, not getting her to think of him differently lmfao

OP: It might be hard at first but you need to entirely stop thinking about this person. Right now you're probably doing this to yourself: something you hear on a video or in person and you will instantly say to yourself "this is what [she] would have said/done." That example, comparing things to her all the time as a sort of comfort for what you wanted, but lost. You're going to have to stop that mindset and know you have to move on with your feelings. Am I saying you should hate/resent her? No. However, if that's YOUR way of dealing with things, it may help, as long as you don't act on your emotions like some people would go out of their way to try and ruin another person's life or make them feel like shit. You also shouldn't go looking for comfort in another person like what you wanted before -- ie, looking for comfort in almost a relationship sense. That's going to further attach you to someone else, where now you may start to get feelings for them and if things don't work out, now you're back at square 1, but this time having a battle between yourself with 2 people, comparing them with each other and the cycle continues.

You'll be better off getting into a hobby or anything that helps keep your mind off of her. Give it a few weeks or a few months and you'll eventually be like "yeah I liked her, oh well, it's over and I want someone who will give me the time." Just don't buckle down under your own pressure where you feel the need to try and go crawling back, only to get hurt and if she has the mind to do so, manipulate you. If you go crawling back in a desperation it could very well spiral into "hey, can you buy me this?" and now you're just a money sign while getting no where.

Find someone else to start talking to, back when I lost some one I really liked I played video games and watched YouTube to keep my mind off of them, then when I felt ready started talking to someone else. It takes time to get over someone, so maybe you could try doing that. If your old enough maybe try to get a job (if you don't already have one) because that will keep your mind going and not thinking about other stuff besides than what you have to do. Good luck man!

Not really the one to take advice from on this, but you have many different options.

Some will tell you to move on.
Some will tell you to give it time.
Some will tell you to stick with whatever you're doing.

The fact of the matter is is that all successful relationships are ones in which the couple are best friends. I mean, they may have a best guy friend or a best girl friend but THEY themselves are best friends.

If you do not feel like she or you could become best friends with eachother then I do not think it is worth the time and effort. If you do believe that you can be her friend (in which she also WANTS to be your friend) then I think you should give it some time. Prove to her that you are her friend not because you want to date her, but because you genuinely care for her. Often times this can take months, years even, and the feelings still may never come from her. That is why people will tell you to move on, but if you think that there is a chance you could get to that level of best friends (Im talkin knowing EVERYTHING about her and her knowing EVERYTHING about you) then go for it.

You can't predict the future, but know that love is often times considered an entity that transverses space and time. Essentially, the quantum entanglement behind the feeling of love will lead you the one you are suppose to be with.

My First relationship I was in was like this, Liked her for 2 years and Then got with her for a year and Then when we split it was the worst, Really hurt me and I had never felt anything like it before.

If you want to just forget about her, Block and Delete her from everything and make no contact until a while until you feel like you can speak to her without wanting to go back down that road.
Rebound Relationships can always be good too but its whatever you wanna do.

I've been through the same thing. What really helped me is hanging out with friends. They help you forget about it and they could even introduce you to someone new. It will take time tho. You'll just have to wait it out like we all do
