PostMalone wrote i can see how it can be weird, i dont normally ask for money so i dont really experience a lot. And when i do ask i dont feel weird because i know i will have no problem paying them back for what they give me

I don't really ask for loans but sometimes I do things for people and they tend to wait a while to pay and I always think to myself "when am I getting the money?" I just don't like sounding pushy or rude, money just makes the conversations weird. That's where I'm at with the context of the original post.

oh okay, i must have misunderstood. but in that case i wouldnt really feel weird because you did something and you deserved to be paid. But it also depends on how long its been, like if its only been like 30 min i wouldnt ask for it, but it were like a day or two i wouldnt feel weird about it

Going on three days now I'm finally just asking for my $180 I'm owed.

I'm the same way, but even with money that I'm owed I still get nervous asking for it back.

I mean I used to feel weird about it. That is one of the reasons I got a well paying job for the hours I need.

So I dont need to ask anyone for any money.

If it money owed then it is a different story...

I couldn't care less, I work doing security, and I asked 10 people over the radio if I can have £5 for a Mc Donalds breakfast, and someone did, in fact, give me a fiver lol. Dont ask dont get.

It's never comfortable asking anyone for money. I've only borrowed a large amount from my gran, as I needed help with my car. I paid her back monthly which she was more than happy with.

It depends how much I'm owed, if it's like >£5 I'll leave it be but any more, I'll be like.. dud remember that money i lent you? I kinda need it back?

But yeah, it is tough. All comes down to certain situations.

Asking for money that is owed to you is okay, obviously you will feel nervous asking a friend for money if you left your wallet at home etc.

It's normal, don't worry about it.

Dylan wrote I have problems asking for money for things like services and stuff. I don't know why it's just uncomfortable asking someone to pay you X for Y. If that makes sense. Does anyone else feel that way kinda? I know money is the king of the world and we all need it to live but still when it comes down to saying "hey I need $___ for ____." It's just weird idk.

Lol.

Yea I would get nervous but you never know unless you ask. I've ask to borrow money from my fiance before.
