Only time can heal a breakup. Of course, you'll need something(s) to distract you from thinking about the girl but you can only give yourself time. If you put your mind to it, find some new things to do to keep yourself busy and continue to live your life without letting this event put you down, you'll be a new person once the heartbreak stage passes.

The human mind is intriguing because the first few days after a breakup, all you can think about is the person you broke up with; you'll keep all the photos, texts, and all the details you shared with that person. Once days go by, you'll start deleting any trace of the person in an effort to get rid of those thoughts; this works but obviously you can't permanently delete memories from your mind. Time keeps going, you distract yourself from the event and you begin to create new memories to push other memories deep down, where they don't hurt as much. The memories will stay, Jass, the point of all of it is to make those memories stop hurting and create new memories, don't stick to thinking about it because all you'll do is keep yourself from experiencing new things; there's lots of people out there, I'm sure that one day you'll find someone who you'll keep for the rest of your life but for now, focus on yourself and live your life without having to think about girls or relationships.

You should focus on yourself now, make yourself a better person. Keep happy and make a good group of friends.

Find something that relieves your stress going to Gym or something you'll enjoy than go out and meet so new people go out with friends you'll eventually find a new girl who will treat you right I been in your shoes just don't think about it and meet new people

Honestly take on board what each and every user has said, look after yourself and make yourself happy. It's time to close a chapter and open another. You may not meet a girl for awhile but you'll do things in this chapter which will strengthen you as a person and benefit you in years to come, it's all about lessons.
