If you think about it, the sandwich is probably anywhere between 1.50-2.00 pound and the others between 80p-1.50

That's cheap!
I live in Norway and just a sandwich costs more than that.

002 wrote I eat at Subway 5 days a week when I'm home and the cheapest foot long is just under $10. Then you still have drinks and chips!
Life hack- get the 36 pack variety chips at Walmart for $10 and get your own drinks too.
I do Security at a High Rise in a Downtown area. I've kicked a bunch of homeless out of the Subway on my block.
So I eat there everyday. For free. But I try to give them good tips to counter it

Adam wrote That's about right tbh. I had a heart attack when I went to an M&S Garage and paid £8 for about the same.
Tell me about it, M&S absolutely rob you blind.

I live in the US and the economy isn't as great as the UK so for me I don't think it's expensive of I go to a corner store it would be about the same maybe a little more.
