Then again, if you try speak to people in the sb with a minimal amount of rep, you'll be plain blank ignored.. even if you @ them. Happened to me multiple times and it's happened to others. I'm not saying people have to reply to everyone, of course not. But people do become ignorant, it's just the way it is.

Then you have your people who, as Mikey said, have been on the site for like a month.. rocking 3k rep and have the SB Hero badges.

Personally, I'm losing no sleep over it but when you tried for long enough to gain some of your own rep and now people have bought or auto refreshed their way past you, it's annoying. Popular members of the site always claim 'rep doesn't matter'. Yeah, it doesn't but there are some people on here who aren't popular and want to be a part of the site and make a name for themselves - these people do not get the time of day. It's a shame.

It's just a number, it doesn't show you are better than anyone else at all, I do not know why people complain about TTG Reputation.

It really doesn't mean anything, but its a cool indicator that you've been around for a while or somewhat active. It won't make you popular or known, i barely know half the people on this site because they don't post but are active in the shoutbox which i come to lurk here and there.

If i had to compare it to anything, i would be Xbox Gamerscore. It's like you've been around for a while, but it doesn't mean or do anything.

If people know you, they know you. Everyone knows Mikey, Xbox, 13 and Boruto for their own contribution to the forums in some way.
