For a past few years i have been fighting with my previous employers for a compensation claim because of an injury i had at work! Since 2016 i have been to many physios and had numerous meetings regarding how i felt after the incident. FINALLY today i received my payout cheque and got the total amount of
£7500
Quick story of what happened, i was using a Stihl Saw
I started to cut plastic pipe and the pipe jammed the saw and it kicked back and sliced my chin/neck.
I had to get stitches and plastic surgery and was off my work for a month.
Here's a few pictures.

WARNING GRUESOME PICTURES
Don't look if you are faint hearted!
My injury an hour later
My injury after i left the hospital
To be fair to the doctors and nurses who helped me they done a pretty good job, but unfortunately im left with a permanent scar on my neck.
I will upload a picture of how my neck looks soon of how different it is 3 years from the accident.

Wow that looks terrible, I'm glad you got your money for it though. Looks like if it was down a little more it could have taken your life. You will work for them?

Working as ops manager for a maintenance company myself can't stand company's who even go as far to take something like this legal. Should always look out for your employees and if something like this happens should be compensated for it.

Man, greed is crazy. They'd rather try and run people dry in a court battle than just own up and help.
Capitalism, how wonderful.
Glad you're okay man. You thinking of a different line of work now? Lol
